OmniGroup, Inc. Presents
7 Wonders in 7 Years
Christ The Redeemer
Fairmont Copacabana | Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
5 Days/4 Nights | Sept. 14th - 18th, 2023
Why the 7 Wonders?
The answer is simple, WHY NOT?!
Not many people have seen at least one of the 7 Wonders of the World.
Well, you will have the opportunity to see ALL OF THEM!
We started with Chichen Itza, now on to Christ the Redeemer!
Where is Christ the Redeemer located?
Brazil is the fifth largest country in the world and covers half of the South American continent. The Atlantic coastline boasts golden beaches and turquoise-colored waters while the lush Amazon overflows with diverse fauna and flora. Travel back in time in old colorful towns or enjoy the large bustling metropolises and their stunning architecture. Fall in love with Brazilians’ charisma, kindness, and happiness and how they enjoy life through upbeat rhythms of “bossa nova” and samba, soccer, carnival, and much more.
Rio de Janeiro is also called the “Marvelous City”. Located by the Atlantic Ocean, golden beaches adorn its shores backed with lush mountains. Enjoy life like the “cariocas” whose charisma is contagious. Dance to the rhythms of samba and old-school “bossa nova”, sip on a caipirinha, and appreciate the incredibly diverse architecture.
Various lists of the Wonders of the World have been compiled from antiquity to the present day, to catalogue the world's most spectacular natural wonders and human-built structures. The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World is the first known list of the most remarkable creations of classical antiquity; The number seven was chosen because the Greeks believed it represented perfection and plenty, and because it was the number of the five planets known anciently, plus the sun and moon.
Many lists have been made. The first list of the 7 wonders was created by the historian Herodotus (484 – c. 425 BC) at the Museum of Alexandria. This first list was based on guidebooks popular among Hellenic sightseers and only includes works located around the Mediterranean rim and in Mesopotamia.
The most recent New7Wonders of the World was a campaign started in 2000 to choose Wonders of the World from a selection of 200 existing monuments. The New 7 Wonders Foundation drove "the largest poll on record". The seven winners were chosen from 21 candidates, which had been whittled down from 77 choices.

It is one of the best options for those looking for a good relationship between time and attractiveness. Most of the climb is by car or van and includes a visit to the paragliding ramp. The trail takes around 45 minutes and is considered easy. As Pedra Bonita is very close to Pedra da Gávea, the view is fantastic and covers most of the city's sights. Pedra Bonita has one of the 5 best views of Rio. The trail is wide open and has an amazing ridge.
Parque da Catacumba: The circuit of suspended steel cables is considered an adventure high rope course , with 360o views of hillside, forest, beaches and fine residences. With 1 zip line, rappel, climbing wall and a variety of obstacles, divided in 2 levels of difficulty (adults and childs). The obstacles vary from 15ft (5m) to 100ft (35m) in length and are suspended at heights ranging from 30ft (10m) to 90ft (30m). Some upper-arm strength combined with good balance are the keys to complete the whole course without using your extra batteries. Unlike many tree canopy courses, we provide a combination of fun and challenge as you go through all of its obstacles. When doing the zip-slides for example, you are hanging on a bar, rather than sitting comfortably in a harness.
